| Why keep a clutter-free bedroom? |
|
Many people have a room or at the very least a cupboard in the home which is full of stuff, more commonly know as clutter. If your clutter area happens to be in the bedroom, then you may be experiencing stagnation in your relationships, health or in the life area relating to the bagua sector that your bedroom lies in. What is Bedrom Clutter?Clutter may be forgotten items shoved under the bed, magazines piled high in the corners, an excessive amount of ornaments, perfume bottles or nick knacks scattered across your furniture, broken table lamps, inaccurate alarm clocks or a glut of unworn clothes that haven't been touched in over a year. By removing unnecessary clutter, you are symbolically creating "more room" for the things you wish to attract in to your life. This can help you to attract a relationship or if you are currently in one, then it is similar to the purpose of pruning the garden in autumn; decluttering can help new growth/change in your current relationship. Other forms of clutter typically found in many bedrooms includes excessive electrical items such as televisions, DVD/VCRs, clock radios, table lamps, a home computer, mobile phone recharger and so on. Surrounding yourself with a high electrical field emitted by all of these items can deplete your immune system over time and drain your energy levels, preventing you from waking up feeling refreshed in the morning. If there are certain electrical items you feel you can't live without, such as your alarm clock, then ensure that it is placed on a bedside table at least one metre away from where your head lies on your bed. For most clocks, this is a reasonably safe distance. If you really love the aesthetic appeal of your table lamps but find you rarely if ever use them, then you can always retain them as an ornament but leave them unplugged or switched off at the wall to further reduce your exposure to EMFs. And for those who simply can't get into bed without the comfort of an electric blanket, then use it to warm the bed but turn it off at the wall before you climb in to bed in the evenings. Of course this is only the first step to acheiveing better health and relationships, but a valuable one.
