Image Feng Shui is an ancient study of the environment's relationship with it's inhabitants; between people and places. It looks for the explanation behind why we feel at ease in certain places and uncomfortable in others.

The practice of Feng Shui aims to balance and harmonise energy to create homes, work places and surrounding areas that nuture, support and envitalise us.

Much of traditional Feng Shui was based on common sense, mathematics, astrology and prevention. Today, traditional Feng Shui is combined with interior design and architecture, taking into account electrical fields (EMFs) and modern day building materials to apply it effectively to modern day living. Coupled with simple affirmations and applied with intent, any remedies or changes implemented to your environment can have an affect on your life, ranging from subtle to powerful transformations.

Flying Star School
This is the most accurate and complex system of Feng Shui which analyses the influence of time on a building. This method involves taking an accurate compass reading of the home's facing direction (to determine the facing palace) and combining that information with the 20 year cylce number that the construction of the building was completed, along with the year any extensions were added on. There are few books available on this area of Feng Shui and the Feng Shui chart needs to be formulated and interpreted by a professional Feng Shui consultant. The Flying Star Chart, whilst different in appearance and in it's computation, can be likened to an astrological birth chart which requires and astrologer's interpretation of planets and stars to give an indication of prosperity, relationships, wealth and so on.

When is a Feng Shui consultation required?
