Is aromatherpy part of Feng Shui? Strictly speaking no - however, anything you can do to improve your environment is good Feng Shui. Using essential oils diluted in water and vapourised throughout the home is a lovely way to fragrance your home without the use of  spray cans which often contain harmful chemicals. If you want to learn how to use essential oils and aromatherapy in your home environment, you really can't go past the classic reference book that is "The Fragrant Pharmacy" by Valerie Ann Worwood. I consider it my bible in all things to do with aromatherapy.

For example, did you know that using lavender oil on a burn once you have cooled the burn with water reduces the chance of blistering?

With blends for use in every room of your home right through to caring for your pet, this 546 page book is great value for money.

I have had success with many remedies taken from this book including treating mosquito bites, burns, chicken pox and warts. I have also enjoyed making my own air freshners and bath blends amongst many other concoctions.

I would recommend this as an essential reference book for everyone's bookshelf.
